Thena Hotel - Spacious 1 BDRM in Midtown

Enjoyable stay at Thena’s! Positive: The property is in a very convenient location, perfect for walking to all the historic sites and plenty of restaurants, cafes and mini marts nearby. Check-in was very straightforward. I was on the third floor (without an elevator), but it’s not full flights of stairs, so getting up to the apartment was far less strenuous than I expected. The apartment is nicely furnished (modern) and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and there were enough towels available. The coffee pods provided were very much appreciated! Great value for money! I would stay here again next time I am in Philly and can recommend Thena apartments! Negative: As others have mentioned, the apartment could use a paint job (e.g. water damage in the bedroom). Yes, the view out the windows is not particularly charming, but since I mainly used the apartment in the evenings, it was dark, anyway (also, I don’t typically travel somewhere to stare out the window).. The water pressure in the bathroom is quite low (i.e. it takes a while to get shampoo out of long hair), particularly the bathroom sink (water pressure is no problem in the kitchen, though). The floors could have been cleaner (there were a few crumbs, etc. in the living room area, it seemed like the vacuuming had been done in a rush/ the corners were left out).

A better price, more spacious, well equipped kitchen, separate living/ dining space and with a king sized bed bedroo Positive: The Smart layout, a great location, the size of the bedroom, a king bed with plenty of space, very well equipped kitchen (all you would need to make a meal), a comfortable couch. Very modern feel. Negative: Late check-in and too early out, 10am. Some water stains in the bedroom, by the window, should be fixed, it just downgrades the apt, which really nice and cozy.

Positive: convenient location and csr was nice Negative: paid for late check out and the maid still opened the door at 10am even though it was moved to 12pm walls are gross view of the brick wall was disappointing overall cleanness was questionable room smelled really bad shower didn't drain when we got there and flooded the bathroom overall just got a really bad vibe from the place, definitely not going to rebook next time we are back

Positive: The apartment was beautiful. Primary suite was very comfortable. Negative: The couch in the living room was very uncomfortable as was the bed in the guest room. We were relocated because of flooding in our original apartment, which was appreciated, but they moved us after we had parked the car for 2 days and it was quite a walk.
