Thena Hotel - Oversized 1 Bedroom

Overall the actual room and the accommodations were excellent. Very clean, the kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils etc. the bed was comfortable, and the location was decent. Only complaint with accommodations was a VERY slippery shower. The issues that I have are with the advertising. They advertised this listing with parking as one of the amenities of the property and they call it the “Thena hotel”.( This is not a hotel, this is someone’s apartment. )So being a reasonable cost, I booked it over another actual hotel with parking. However, when we arrived, there was a Downpour and no parking. When I texted it took nearly an hour for them to respond so I called, they informed me that parking was not included but available at a lot across the street and I had to leave my keys with them for an additional 40 a night. This is like listing air conditioning under amenities, and then charging me a fee for using it when I get there. Again, we loved the accommodations, but would have stayed elsewhere for a similar price with parking available.

Great location!

This room was really nice! Very cozy. Bed was comfy. Only had one roll of tissue but there is a small store across the street. Great location. Walking distance to everything. There are no views from the windows but we used the room for sleeping. There was an issue with the door to the building but it was handled expeditiously. Overall, I would stay here again.

This was a great place to stay. Historic building, lots of character. Room 2 was well situated, though if there are upstairs neighbors you can hear them loudly above you. Room was clean and comfortable, and the manager was responsive to needs. I would absolutely stay here again.

It was clean and spacious, walkable to nearby shops and restaurants, and at a price point the can’t be beat.
