Thena Hotel - Lux Studio

Of the many, usually good, accomodations by bookings.com, this was the worst experience. Positive: Location Negative: Out of a 5 night stay, no hot water till the evening of the second day. No one on site. If a problem arises you must make a call and the receptionist must find someone, perhaps nowhere nearby. I was locked out one evening because of a defective number lock on the door. It took a long time for someone to arrive, jam the door open, and repair it. Don’t ask me where I peed. Not as important, but no chair or lamp.

Positive: We spent 4 nights at Thena hotel. The room was clean and at a great location, just a few steps to the City Hall. Check in process was easy. They provided stove, fridge and kitchenware that you could cook anytime you wanted. Negative: The staff seemed responsive but not helpful much. 1. Before our trip, they confirmed there were dining table and chairs for us to use, but after we checked in, they said they didn’t provide chairs. It was uncomfortable standing to eat during the whole time we stayed there. 2. We stayed there for 4 nights and they gave us 2 bath towels. We asked for additional towels, twice, but we didn’t receive any until we checked out. 3. The mini fridge was set at the coldest, we didn’t notice it and everything we left in the fridge became frozen like fruits, salads, water, etc.

Great stay. Walkable neighborhood. Close to everything! Positive: Location was amazing! The kitchen had so many useful utensils, cookware, and supplies. Whole suite was spotless. Shower stall was large and bathroom was roomy. Negative: No elevator ☹️ no free parking

Positive: Very clean and a good price for being downtown. Comfy bed and quiet. Negative: The TV was difficult to deal with. There was no cable service and it didn't have the streaming app we use (Youtube TV) to access our account and screen mirroring and casting was finicky and didn't always work.
